TFTM is able to convert any DOS-TM Database that has been run using DOS-TM Release 3.0 or later. If you have a release prior to 3.0, you have two choices for converting your DOS-TM Database to the new Windows format.

Make a backup of your DOS-TM and e-mail to TFTM@hy-tekltd.com and we will convert your Database for you.

Request a FREE copy of DOS-TM Release 3.0. When you receive it, install that update and run it one time, and it will prepare your DOS-TM Database for conversion to the Windows format.

DOS-TM Customers
Please follow these instructions for converting a DOS-TEAM MANAGER Database over to the new TFTM Database format.

When DOS T&F TM and TFTM are Installed on the Same Computer
From the TFTM Main Menu Bar, click on File / Convert Dos Database to TFTM 2.0. TFTM will display the Database conversion screen and list all the DOS T&F TM Databases found in c:\tftmdata. If you wish to request that TFTM look on a different Hard Drive for DOS T&F TM Databases, click on File / Change Search Drive and pick a different drive. If you wish TFTM to look in a different directory or subdirectory (folder), then click on File / Search for DOS T&F Databases and select the directory (folder) from which you to start the search.

Now pick from the list of DOS T&F TM Databases that are displayed, then click on the Convert Selected Database button, and TFTM will proceed to convert the selected DOS T&F TM Database over to the TFTM Database format. As conversion progresses, TFTM will display a progress bar. After the conversion has been completed, click OK to return back to the TFTM Main Menu.

When DOS T&F TM and TFTM are Installed on Different Computers
If you have installed TFTM on a different computer than the one that contains your DOS T&F TM Database, make a Backup of your DOS TM Database. Place the backup diskette in Drive A of the TFTM computer. Then click File / Convert Dos Database to TFTM 2.0, which displays the conversion screen where you click File / Convert DOS TM Backup. TFTM will then restore your DOS T&F TM backup to a temporary directory and then proceed with the Database conversion as described above.

NOTE: Meet Entries are not converted. If you are in the process of setting up meet entries for an upcoming meet, you may want to complete that process in DOS-TM or re-start the process using your new TFTM database.
