1	TEAM MANAGER for Swimming New Features in Release 6.0
2	About TM 6.0 Welcome to TEAM MANAGER 6.0 for Swimming (TM), HY-TEK's 6th generation of Team Management software for swimming. TEAM MANAGER 6.0 is the natural follow-on to TEAM MANAGER 5.0 that was initially released in April of 2008. TM 6.0 has over 75 new features, many of which will be described here. This presentation assumes that you are already familiar with the TEAM MANAGER 5.0 software.
3	TEAM MANAGER 6.0 Design Goals Provide a seamless user experience with web based features that save you time and make your job easier. Make TEAM MANAGER even easier to use with shortcuts and more intuitive functionality. Include enhancements that have been requested over the past two years from our Customers.
4	NEW Bundle Packages Instead of choosing from 10 or more options, TM now offers 3 product levels. Bronze – Basic TM Silver – Basic + All the Standard Age-Group options + the Pro Network option Gold – Silver + all 3 of the Workout Manager options When you upgrade to TM 6.0, you will automatically receive all of the features that are included in the bundle that your current set of options puts you in. For example, if you have the Time STD/Record option, you will be in the Silver Bundle and receive all of the other options at no additional cost
5	Web based Features in TM 6.0 Team Connect Online is included FREE! Team Stats Online is included FREE! Team Registration Online is available. Features in Development for TM 6.0 Online Meet Entries (OME) Meet Fee Collection (MFC)
6	Icon Shortcuts Whether it’s a shortcut to export your meet entries, one click to update your web site’s results, or one click to bring in your new registrations, TM 6.0 makes it easy and fast!
7	Display DQ Codes DQ Codes can now be imported from HY-TEK’s MEET MANAGER 3.0 directly into TM 6.0. Those DQ codes can optionally be printed from the Meet Results Report and posted so your swimmers know exactly why they were DQ’d.
8	Swimmer’s Joining Date TM 6.0 now includes the option to enter a Joining Date for your Team and his/her Group. Click on the Athlete Browser and sort by Joining Date and print a report listing each swimmers date they joined the team sorted by shortest time or longest time on the team.
9	New Coach’s Information TM 6.0 provides the option to enter up to 5 Certification levels with an expiration date for each. You may also specify any of your coaches to be the men, women, or women/men coach. This information, together with the other coach administrative information, can be displayed on the Meet Entry Report and exported to MEET MANAGER with your entries.
10	Meet Entry Report Features The Meet Entry Spreadsheet Report now is available in Portrait format for High School/College meets. The Meet Entry Spreadsheet Report offers the option to highlight the swimmers that have maxed out their combined event entries. The Multi-Meet Entry Report allows you to pick from a set of meets for which you have declared entries and then display a report sorted by Swimmer that includes the declared meet entries for that swimmer for each of those meets listed in chronological order.
11	Build Your Team Records When you initially set up your team or pool records, TM 6.0 offers a one mouse click feature for each of the stroke/distance/gender records to check your existing meet results database and fill in all of the record holder information – no keying and no mistakes! TM 6.0 now supports records for mixed events as well as Masters Relays.
12	Workout Manager Features When tracking attendance, you now have the option to indicate a Late as well as an unexcused absence. In Workout Attendance, the athlete list can be filtered by the School Year combo box. In the Workout Menu, Ctrl-F5 will create a line separator in the workout at the location of the active workout line. The Reports for attendance and yardage can now be printed in any range of months up to 12 months. The month and year for the Attendance Menu and the Attend Report Menu have Previous and Next buttons added to quickly select a month or year.
13	PDF Folder TEAM MANAGER 6.0 automatically sets up a new PDF Forms folder with various swimming PDFs that have been provided to HY-TEK. You can add to that list and then click on the Reports menu selection to choose which PDF you wish to print right from your TM desktop.
14	Meet Entry Fee Report TM 6.0 offers the option to run the Meet Entry Fee report using the Relay Swimmers from the results of the meet rather than from the entries. This usually will provide much more accurate fee collection data for each family. The option to include Relay Alternates in the athlete surcharge is now available in the Meet Entry Fee Report.
15	More New Features (1) Miscellaneous Features For Entries by Event, there is a new choice to show “only pre-entered swimmers that currently have no entries”. For Entries by Event for Relays, there are new options to “Check All” and “Uncheck All” for the 4Bst column for selecting candidates for the Best Relay computation. For Dual Meet seeding, in addition to specifying even or odd lanes, there is a new feature that allows specifying lanes for the team like (2-5-8). On Meet Setup, there is a new feature to specify "Minimum Age for 10&U Events" that is honored in all Eligibility reports and grids. Five more custom fields have been added for a total of 8.
16	More New Features (2) Events and Records The Meet Division Code can be changed for a result event that has results. The TM Records section now supports records for Mixed Relays. The Records section now supports Masters Individual and Relays events. TM now supports the Session Day and Start Time either by keying in the information or by importing it from HY-TEK's MEET MANAGER.
17	More New Features (3) Setup and Preferences In System Preferences, there is now a default city that it automatically entered for a new Athlete. For the UK, TM shows County Options instead of State or Province. In System Preferences, the Country selection is now a mandatory choice. A new Team Division set has been added to the Groups/Subgroup Codes menu. A Team Division selection has been added to Favorite Filters.
18	More New Features (4) Athlete and Team When using a sibling's address information, TM now updates secondary contact info and the medical contact information. You can now declare an athlete as "Dive Certified" in the Athlete Information screen. The Athlete Browser also includes a new column with check boxes for swimmers that are "Dive Certified". Swimmer Goals are much faster to set up because you no longer have to close and re-initiate the goals selection - just pick the next swimmer and enter his/her goals.. The Team Browser now includes a new column for the Team Division of each team.
19	More New Features (5) Import/Export Relay Only Swimmers are now included in the export to Team Stats Online. The option to Export ONLY Relay Meet Entries is now available. When exporting Meet Entries, the file name is now built with the Meet Name and date. For the export Athlete Fields in csv, there are new options to Check All Fields and Uncheck All Fields. TM automatically imports up to 8 Swimmers on a Relay from HY-TEK's MEET MANAGER 3.0.
20	More New Features (6) New Report Changes and Enhancements Top Times Report - there is a new choice when running Personal Best and showing a progressive delta improvement. Split Sheet Report - new option for 25/50 yard splits. Split Sheet Report - new option to group event numbers with different letters together for multi-age group events. Meet Entry Report by Swimmer or Event - there is a new option to not page break between swimmers or events. Meet Entry Report - new option to include the DOB. Meet Results Report - new option to display DQ Codes. Meet Results Report - show a "dash" for missing splits. Meet Results Report - new Press Release export. Meet Results Report - new AUS Points System selection. Meet Results Report - new option to include ONLY DQs. Meet Results Report – Standards are included in the header. Registration Report – TM prints each swimmer's name in the format "Last, First MI" instead of using the Preference format.
21	More New Features (7) New Report Changes and Enhancements Meet Entry Labels - new option to show DOB. Mailing Labels for Meet Entries - new option to not print duplicates for siblings. Meet Entry Labels - new option to NOT include Entry Time on the label. Meet Entry Labels - new format choice of 2x3 consistent with HY-TEK's MEET MANAGER 3.0 New Report to show the Athletes that have been entered in a particular meet. Memorized Reports for Top Times - TM now remembers the check box setting for "Include Relay non-leadoff Legs". Memorized Reports for Top Times - TM now remembers the check box setting for "Registration ID".
22	More New Features (8) New Report Changes and Enhancements Top Times Report - when including non-leadoff splits, there is a new option to show also fastest legal time with it. Top Times Report - for relays, there is a new option to include or Not include relay swimmers. Top Times Report - new option for 1 event per page. Top Times Report - when using the Since Date, there is a new option to include "Life Time Best" even if outside date range. Top Times Report - new Team Division filter. Top Times Report - new AUS Points System selection. New Dual Meet Lineup Report that shows the team entries under each heat and lane that was assigned. Athlete Roster Report - new option for Medical Information to filter by a specific meet. Athlete Roster Report - new options to Show Birth Date and Show Registration ID.
