MEET MANAGER 3.0 for Swimming
Service Packs Released in 2009

Version 3.0Cl - November 20, 2009

·For the Meet Program report, there has been a problem with exporting the previewed report to Microsoft Word so that the heat sheets can be edited. To alleviate the problem, there is a new check box in the Meet Program Menu named 'RTF Export' which when checked creates a report that will be much improved for editing when 'Microsoft Word - Editable (RTF)' is selected as the export method. In addition, if the report preferences are set to A4 paper, the single column report has adjusted margins to better accommodate the A4 paper size.
·When creating a Referee Format for the Meet Program, the order of the lanes was still by lane rather than fastest to slowest and this is corrected.
·When browsing a Proof of Times file from the Exceptions Report, an error occurred and this is corrected.
·In the Athlete Menu or the Relays Menu, if putting in a heat / lane for an entry, lane numbers 11 and 12 were disallowed and this is corrected.
·In the Meet Program, exhibition entry times are noted with an 'X' in front of the entry time, but when the option to not show entry times is selected, the 'X' is not shown and this has been altered to still show the 'X' even if the entry time is not shown.
·When listing athletes plus replays in the Entries List Report, if uppercase punctuation was chosen for team names, the athlete entries were shown with an 'All Caps' team name and the relays were shown with an uppercase/lowercase team name like it was two separate teams and this is corrected.
·When adding entries in the Athlete Menu with qualifying times setup as a range, if a very fast time was entered that was faster than the fast time, the message could display the incorrect time range if the event had originally been setup as mixed with qualifying times entered and then the event changed to multi-age group with new qualifying times entered. This has been corrected.

Version 3.0Ck - November 1, 2009

·The Administrative Reports has a new selection for storing and printing PDF documents. The initial set of PDF documents are USA Swimming forms. Any PDF can be placed in the MM install directory under the folder 'PDFForms' and can be opened and printed from within MM if adobe Acrobat is installed on the computer.
·The grid navigation in the Records Menu has been corrected.
·The grid navigation in the Time Standards Menu has been corrected.

Version 3.0Cj - September 26, 2009

·Keyboard navigation in the Time Standards grid and in the Event Menu's Multi-Age Group grid have been improved.
·In the Meet Summary Report, the seed time for finals of a two round event now shows the preliminaries time rather than the meet seed time.
·When adding a record tag when Other is selected in the Meet Setup for the ID Format it created an error and this is fixed.

Version 3.0Ci - September 19, 2009

·In the Scores Report, there is a new option to limit the places for scoring to say the top 8 or top 16 when using Special Points such as HY-TEK Points or FINA Points.
·There is a correction to the Scores Report when using the Quality Club Scoring method where only athletes who have scored in an event are used to figure the average score for each team. Previously the number of athletes counted was incorrect.
·In the Scores Report for the Quality Club Score, athletes who are entered and scratch every event or No Show every event are no longer counted in the point calculation for the average score.
·The Medals Report has been revised to sort correctly and if the report is for medals beyond 3rd place, the sort is by total medals instead of by the most 1st place medals.
·In the Sessions Report, there is the option to show the exact date and time when the Get Times button was used to get results and this option displayed Prelim and Final data for a session that only had prelims and this is corrected to only show prelim data.
·When creating a spreadsheet using Swum Times before all events have been swum for Combined Event Scores for events like the Pentathlon, the NT times showed up as a time in hours and this is corrected.

Version 3.0Ch - September 9, 2009

·In the Meet Setup Menu, MM has three sets of DQ code choices which are HY-TEK codes, UK-ASA codes and FINA codes. A fourth set has been added for USA Swimming's DQ codes. The Hy-TEK codes have been changed to Custom codes which you can edit as you please to fit your needs (using a text editor). Whenever FINA, the UK, or USA Swimming changes their DQ descriptions, we can easily update these by replacing the respective text files whenever you use the Check for Updates feature in MM, but without changing your custom text file if you are using that.
·For the Omega ARES 21 start list export, the 25 meter event has been added to the lstLong.txt file.
·In the Run Menu, a mixed event incorrectly flagged female records broken by males and this is corrected. Actual results were not affected.

Version 3.0Cg - September 3, 2009

·If Open Water Team Relays were setup and the individual races were swum with Wave Offsets, the wave offsets were not subtracted from the times used to compute the total relay time and this is corrected.
·When purging Interface Files, Open Water Button Timer Interface files were not deleted and this is corrected.
·When purging entries or results, results entered using the Open Water Module were not deleted and this is corrected.
·When using the Athlete Menu to enter athletes into a relay event, an error occurred and this is corrected.

Version 3.0Cf - August 20, 2009

·If a meet is setup as Flighted with say 4 flights, if less than 4 corresponding division names have been setup, an error occurred when scoring the event and now code has been added to prevent the error. There also could be an error if more than 2 flights have been setup and Entry Scoring Preferences have been set to different points for each division and this has been corrected.

Version 3.0Ce - August 17, 2009

·The Quality Club Award Rankings Report has been enhanced with an added option to only count athletes who scored points in either individual events or relays. The idea behind this option is to not discourage teams from entering slower athletes.
·If a particular record is set to not allow foreigners to break the record, the Record Breaker Report and the Meet Summary Record Breakers Report still listed relays with a foreign swimmer as breaking a record and this has been corrected.
·When showing results for relays in the Athlete Menu, if a relay had a DQ or DNS, that code was not displayed and this is corrected.
·If a relay event is setup as Mixed without Multi-Age Group, new relays added manually now default to Mixed rather than Male.
·When creating a report for one athlete in the Meet Summary, if the athlete was only in relays, the relays were not listed and this is corrected.
·A new option has been added to Lane / Timer Sheets where if the meet is using a timing system, you can have a check box show to the right of each lane where watch times are written for the timers to verify whether the touch was a soft pad touch or not.

Version 3.0Cd - August 7, 2009

·When in the Run Menu, right clicking on an athlete name in a heat will display a window with entry and results information. This information can now be printed for a quick way to provide an athlete or official a summary pertaining to the athlete.
·The new FINA point tables for short course meters that went into effect July 1, 2009 are now updated in MM 3.0.
·The Quality Club Team Score report has been revised slightly for better appearance.

Version 3.0Cc - August 5, 2009

·When uploading Heat Sheets, Psych Sheets, or Default pages for Real Time Results, a Refresh button is now included for each page just like it is for the results pages. Many browsers do not automatically refresh and this button makes it easy for users to refresh the page.
·The athlete competitor re-numbering in the Athlete Menu is enhanced to provide several options for re-numbering the athlete competitor numbers. Alphabetical by athlete or by team and athlete within the team can be selected. Male only or female only can be selected. There are several other options which are described in the Help. These numbering methods may be very helpful for Open Water events.
·The new feature for relays in the Meet Program to alternate women's and men's heats where the first two heats are the fastest two wornen's heats followed by the two fastest men's heats and then alternating women's and men's heats correctly ordered the heats if only the two relay events were selected. If other events were selected for the same report, the alternating was not correct and this has been fixed.
·In the Athlete Menu, the entries grid at the bottom can now be printed. If results are included, the results will be printed too. This grid and the athlete grid have been improved to print landscape and with smaller margins so that more columns can fit on one page.

Version 3.0Cb - August 2, 2009

·The ability to print reports directly to the printer rather than being previewed first has been re-instated. You can also specify how many copies to print if printing directly to the printer. There is a separate setting for Reports and for Labels as to whether printing directly to the printer or not and as to the number of copies. There is also a setting for whether to collate or not if printing directly with more than one copy.
·In the Run Menu, the preference to print Award Labels directly to the printer did not work and this has been fixed.
·Calculating HY-TEK points for the 100 IM Short Course meters caused an error and this is corrected.
·In the Meet Program report, if including qualifying alternates and prior round results, the sub-title header for the prior round results did not show in some cases and this is corrected.
·The Lane Timer Sheets for two events per page has been adjusted to allow a margin at the top of the bottom half of the page after cutting so that the clipboard clip does not cover the first couple heats.
·A problem with exporting results to the Swimming World Magazine web site has been corrected.
